Ranjit Singh

Ranjit Singh is Assistant Director in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department with responsibilities for advising on work related to regulatory policy and climate risk. He has had extensive experience in capital market strategy, development, and regulation and has been actively involved in numerous international policy forums. He has previously served as Vice-Chair of the International Organisation of Securities Commission (IOSCO), Chairman of Securities Commission Malaysia and taught finance at the University of Melbourne. He holds a B.Econs (Hons), M.Econs in Finance and a Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) from Monash University Australia and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.
